Under the MOM Foreign Workers Act, employers must buy and maintain medical insurance coverage for each Work Permit holder. The insurance should cover inpatient care and day surgery, including hospital bills for conditions that may not be work-related.

 

The minimum sum insured for foreign worker medical insurance will be increased from $15,000 to $60,000 w.e.f 1 July 2023 as per MOM's latest requirement ,refer to the official announcement here . Therefore, please be informed that all policies renewing from 1 July 2023 will be based on the latest requirement with a premium adjustment.
